Is it possible to exclude Appendix page no within TOC with page numbers?

I am writing a report and i have build a table of contents TOC with headings etc.

I have a list of appendices ie Appendix A and Appendix B

The appendices will include PDF attachments which i attach/merge later using Adobe

The problem i am facing is my Appendix A will be page 6 and Appendix B will be page 7 within the word document but when i add the PDF attachments within the appendices the appendix page no will be incorrect.

So i was wondering if i can have a TOC with page numbering for all heading but not for the appendices?

My solution was to create another set of Captions for appendices and insert in report as below but i was wondering if there's a better way?

I also appear to have an issue with the appendix style being bold unlike The Tables and figures but things might be a bit complicated t resolve?

    There are several approaches here.

    1. If you want the word "Appendix" or "Appendices" to appear in the TOC, but without a page number, then you can use a different heading level for that title and omit the page number for that level. That is, apply an unused heading style to the Appendix title (you can make the style look identical to Heading 1) and then add the \n switch to the TOC field as described at http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/TOCTips.htm#OmitPageNumbers. If you want to use the word "Appendices" instead, but it doesn't appear in the document, you can use a TC field, as described at http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/TOCTips.htm#TCFields .
    2. If you want actual page numbers for the appendices, you could include a cover page for each appendix (using the Heading 1 style). Each would be a separate section with page numbering restarted at the appropriate number to account for the pages in the previous appendix.
