Hi,

I am currently in the process of creating my teams organisation chart in visio.

I have my name boxes with details in.
I now want to add each person location.

My manager has asked if we can put each location below the employees name (below the ribbon)
My question is, is this possible to move so i can add text below?

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the clarification, it sounds like you may need to create your own custom shape, you can check this thread for more information about creating custom shapes in Org Chart: Using Custom Shape Stencils In Organisation Charts - Microsoft Community

Best Regards,

Arck

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community, I'm glad to offer help.

To change the location of each field, you can go to the Org Chart tab and click the arrow in the lower right corner of the Shapes group to open the Options dialog, then go to the Fields tab to edit the details of the blocks.

In your case, you can set Block 1 to 'Name' and set Block 2 to 'Location'.

Please feel free to let me know if it works or not.

    Best Regards,

    Arck
