Has Business Basic subscription changed to exlude desktop Office applications ?

I've had an Office subscription running with my work account for years which my IT bods are saying is just the Basic subscription.

The desktop apps have always worked though.

I've done an update recently & they have now disappeared.

Looking at the plan details it looks like I never should have had access to desktop apps as part of that subscription.

Has it changed recently ?? Am I doing something wrong ?

Or do I just need to upgrade my subscription

TIA !

    Hi James,

    Greetings.

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

Sorry for this inconvenience. Yes the Business Basic doesn't include the desktop apps, but you can have the online version of Office. I am not sure of the time the change occurred and just to let you know there is nothing you are doing wrong. If you need the desktop apps an upgrade will be recommended.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.

    Regards,

    Mac
