According to your description, could you please provide us some information better to know this issue? please kindly let us know when did this issue occur to you? What steps you have followed to tried to make your pc run faster?
Please do following steps to check this issue persist or not:
uninstall teams in your PC and clearing out all teams’ folders from your user profiles, reinstall it to check is there have any improvement
