Sharepoint intermittent connection

Everytime I try to open a document in sharepoint I get an error stating "The connection was reset." I try again and sometimes it opens, but mostly it does not. My internet connection has been deemed perfect and I am on ethernet connection. and there is no issues with any other internet based products

    Thanks for posting back.

    According to your test, to troubleshoot the issue further, we may need to collect the local log file. I would like to suggest you contact your admin/IT department to create a support ticket via Admin Center> Support> New service request. The support team there will have the correct channel to help you investigate more and find what exactly reason has caused this issue.

    longer test

    We ran a simultaneous test on another pc off the network, my pc to google, and my pc to sharepoint and the connection to sharepoint keeps dropping for me.

    2. we use it through the sharepoint browser
    3. I am the only one experiencing this issue. We are all working from home. I have have my internet professionally diagnosed and my connection is direct to the modem with cat-6.

    According to your description, I would like to collect more information to troubleshoot the issue.

    1. May I know whether you are using SharePoint Online or SharePoint sever?
    2. May I know how you open these SharePoint documents, in the browser or by the OneDrive client?
    3. Please provide a screenshot of the error message.
    4. Do your colleagues have the same issue?
