When I enter a record on a form and hit the Save Record button running a save record command, the entire record disappears on the form and does not get saved to the table. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi MaryMcGann1:
Thank you for your reply.
I think the cause of the problem is that you did not create a form based on your table, so the two are not related, so your information cannot be saved on the table.
If so, can you tell me how to create this form, whether you create a form by using the Form Wizard? If not, please refer to this document:Create a form by using the Form Wizard (microsoft.com)
Hope this will help you.

Hi Tin,
Thank you for your message. It is good to know that this problem that I'm having is just with my app and that means that it can be corrected.
I have attached a link to the app, if you want to take a look at it.
I need to be able to move to different records once data is entered and I was going to use the navigation arrows for that.
Thank you,
Mary
This relates to your other question. It sounds like you did not set a table as the Recordsource of your form. Unless the form is bound to a table, it won't save data to the table.
Hi MaryMcGann1:
Thank you for posting in our forum.
Since we are not sure about your specific Access object, we used the Student template to do the test. In our test, we did not find the same problem. The following is a screenshot of my test results, for your reference only:
When I cilek the Save under the Records Tab, there will be no problem of disappearing records:
Therefore, I would like to know whether this problem occurs in a specific object, you can create a new database to see if there are the same problems. If there is no problem with the new database, please manually copy and paste your data into the new database. If you have a lot of data, please forgive me for the inconvenience caused.
If there is a problem with the new database, please check if there are any updates to your Access, you can update your Office applications in the following ways: Open Access-> File -> Account ->Update Options ->Update Now.
We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial suggestions may not resolve the problem very soon. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further:
Hope this will help you.
