How can I keep the VBA code window from going under the toolbar?

Split from this thread.

I do have another issue that has been bothering me for a long time. If I minimize a VBA cod window and then open it again the top of the window where the green, yellow and red dots that allow me to minimize etc the window disappear under the tool bar as does my ability to grab the top of the window and move it. I like to tile my windows so that I can easily move from one to another but because of this I can't. I have included a screen shot.

Thanks for all of your help in the past.

Regards,

Bill

    Hi BurdeningAce6,

Thanks for the updates, However, I cannot repro the same issue on my side in Excel, but I would suggest you try tile windows in VB editor by Window button at top menu>Tile Vertically and you can view the window side by side. If you can not see toolbar of the window, you may also click Tile Vertically and check if you can see the toolbar again.

    Hi BurdeningAce6,

I go through the post carefully. based on the description, it seems that toolbar with green/yellow/red dots disappear after you minimize the window. However, based on the screenshot you shared with us, the Toolbar is not disappeared:

I test on my side in Excel for mac, and I cannot repro the same issue, may I know if my understanding on your situation is right?

    Hi Clark,

Thank you for your help, I think I had the terminology wrong. I'm attaching a better example of what my problem is with the minimize etc. dots. The purple ellipses are where the dots I was referring to are. You can see that on the top sheet they are there normally and on the bottom one they have disappeared. I can move the top sheet around by grabbing the top bar where the macro name is but the bottom sheet does not have that bar.

Your help is greatly appreciated and if you can solve this 3 times more. This is my second MacBook Air that has had this issue. My operating system has been installed and reinstalled. Excel has been deleted and installed a couple of times and both Excel (version 16.54) and my OS (Big Sur 11.6) are up to date.

    Clark,

It's fixed! You did understand my problem and I actually clicked on the cascade button and that worked as expected. I tried the other two buttons and they also worked as expected. The real plus is that seems to have reset whatever the root cause is because now I cannot duplicate the problem. Thanks for your help!
