Microsoft Forms with SQL Server

Hi

Our organisaiton wants to eliminate Excel workbooks flying around the organisation and to reduce the amount of data that is captured on these.  Ideally we want an easy way of capturing information without having to write a web form.  We think Microsoft Forms is the way to go but we want the results to be stored in SQL Server.  Is this available as part of the free version of 365?  Can anyone give me some guidance please?

Thank

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community, I'm glad to offer help.

According to your description, I can understand that you want to store the Microsoft Forms responses in SQL database. In this case, you can use Power Automate to make it happen, and here is a template that is almost exactly what you need: Store Microsoft Forms responses in a SQL Server table | Microsoft Power Automate

And if you have any further questions or personalized needs, since building custom automate flow is beyond our support scope, we would like to recommend you post a new thread in the following forums, these are our dedicated platforms that can cope with the related questions and issues:

We are willing to help you, but we are afraid of providing any incorrect information that may not benefit you, we sincerely hope you can get the problem solved with the help of experienced supports and community members. We also welcome any community members to share any idea about your situation if anyone has related experiences.

Your understanding will be highly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Arck
