I'm afraid "latest version" is a relative term any more based on type of license & macOS version:-) Please go to Excel> About Microsoft Excel in the main menu to determine the type of License. My understanding is that the feature is available only in the subscription software so if your license is anything other than Microsoft 365 Subscription that would explain why you don't have it.
"Data from Picture" button missing
Hi,
I'm using the latest version of Excel on mac. However, the "Data from picture" button is missing from both the "Insert" tab and "Data" tab in the menu. How could I get access to it? I've already tried reinstalling the whole Microsoft Office but it didn't help at all.
Thanks!

As Bob said, check your version and license type by going to the Excel menu and choosing About Excel. We think either you don't have version 16.57 or your license type is something other than Office 365 Subscription.
