Excel 365 Random Automatic Horizontal Scrolling?

Excel continuously at random intervals, automatically, scrolls horizontally to the right. I have to then manually scroll back to the left to continue using Excel. Clicking on the status bar of Excel and clicking the scroll lock option, makes no difference whether locked or not. Sometimes after this random scrolling and I manually scroll to the left, it will immediately and randomly scroll to the right again. It does not scroll a great distance, but scrolls far enough that I cannot continue to use excel without having to again scroll to the left. Help. How do I stop this?

It tried both off-line and on-line repairs. No difference as it continues to randomly horizontal scroll.

    Andre,

In safe mode, the same thing occurs. One of the times, it scrolled horizontally twice in separate actions.

    Hi

My name is André. I am an independent consultant.

Does this event happen in any other software too? like internet browser or word?

If not, see if the same happens when using excel in safe mode.

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key + R. ...

Once the Run window opens, type:

excel /safe in the input box next to 'Open'.

Press the Return key or click OK

Answer here so I can continue helping you.

    André.
