Save grouped shapes as SVG

I have made a diagram consisting of many shapes now I want to save it as an SVG. PowerPoint supports importing an SVG and breaking it up into shapes, so I guess it must work the other way around. But how?

Solution preferred for macos version or office365 online version.

In PowerPoint for macOS, you should be able to right-click on the group of shapes and choose Save as Picture, then choose the SVG format. Are you not seeing that format?

If not, do you see PDF format? If that is available, save as PDF, then convert to SVG using the free program InkScape.

    Hi, Sebastian.

To save an image as a separate file on your MAC OS try the steps below:

    1. Control-click the illustration that you want to save as a separate image file, and then click Save as Picture.
    2. In the Save as type list, select the file format that you want.
    3. In the Save As box, type a new name for the picture, or just accept the suggested file name.
    4. In the Where box, navigate to the folder where you want to store the image.
    5. Click Save.

You can see more detailed information on the link below, in the MAC OS section:

    Best Regards!

    Hillary.
