Office for iOS, unable to find some SharePoint Sites when using the open folder option

Hi,

In the home screen of the Office for iOS app, when clicking on the folder icon on the top right corner, I can select the Sites from my organization. From there it will show recent and followed SharePoint sites. The followed sites are not accurate (seems to be an old cached list of my followed sites).

Is there a way to refresh followed sites so it will be the same followed sites that I have in the SharePoint page in M365? I've waited a couple of days, restarted the app, uninstall, reinstall, account logout/login... The followed sites are still not updated.

This is what I have in the Office iOS apps in the followed sites. It is not up to date information.

This is what I have in SharePoint and this is accurate.

    Hi martin.coupal,

First, my pleasure to assist you.

As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

Based on my test result in IOS device when open blank Word document file and click on folder button>select SharePoint site, there I can see all SharePoint site listed.

Since you already tried, sign-out/in account and uninstall, reinstall but issue still persist, First, please make sure your Office 365 app is up-to date in your IOS device,.

Also, please try to use another IOS device and check the outcomes, it will help for us to narrow down your issue.

I appreciate your understanding and stay safe!!

    Best regards

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Regarding if the apps is at the latest version: I've reinstalled the apps this morning so I should be ok.

I currently don't have another iOS device under hand. I'll try to get one.

Note: The OneDrive and SharePoint iOS app display correctly my followed sharepoint sites. So the issue is only whith the Office iOS app.

    Dear Martin,

From your description, it seems that the issue only happens in the Office app on your iOS device.

As the followed sites are showed fine in the SharePoint app on your iOS device, the issue may not be related to the SharePoint environment in your tenant.

I kindly suggest you reset the apps and restart the iOS app in your environment again to see if the issue goes away.

If no, I suggest you use the Feedback option in the apps to report the issue to our related team as soon as possible so that they can be aware of the issue for further investigation.

Sorry for that our category may have limited resources on further investigating such issues.

Thanks for your understanding and have a nice day!

    Cliff
