The extra alias isn't in use jet.

but i don't have the possibility to add a extra smtp address under the ECP portal.

    Hi M.Hellingman,

    Greetings.

    Thank you for rasing your concern in this community.

    From what I know, with this error, you can try these steps:

    1. Adding Mail Recipient Role Login to Office Admin Center.

    Go to Exchange Amin center and click on roles. Select Admin Roles.

    Add role group, name as Recipient Management and click next.

    Click on choose roles and try to find mail recipients and check on this option.

    Click on next and try to search for the GA and add yourself to this group.

    Click on the next and save.

    Try to add the alias from the same GA account.

    1. Adding the alias from PowerShell.

     Run the below mentioned commands: Connect-ExchangeOnline Set-Mailbox mailboxName -EmailAddresses @{Add='******@yourdomain.com'}

    Please let me know how it goes for further assistance.

    Kind regards.

    Mac
