Although the Switch function cannot be called in a calculated field in a table, it can in a calculated column in a query. Just one reason why a query should be used when a computed value is to be returned.
Microsoft Access - Where is the Switch function?
I do not see "swift" function in the expression builder. it displays IIf only. How can I add swift to it?
I think I have the 2019 version.

Hi. What does "swift" do? Or, did you mean "switch?"
