Hello,
I would start by reading the reimaging brief on the Microsoft site
https://download.microsoft.com/download/3/d/4/3d42bdc2-6725-4b29-b75a-a5b04179958b/reimaging.pdf
Here is the Summary from the document.
Summary
Reimaging is the copying of software onto multiple devices from one consistent image. Reimaging rights are granted
to Microsoft Commercial Licensing customers buying licenses under Enterprise Agreements, Microsoft Products and
Services Agreements (MPSA), Open License and Open Value agreements, Campus and School agreements and Select
Plus. Under these rights, customers can reimage original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or full-package product
(FPP) licensed devices using media provided under their Commercial Licensing agreement. However, certain
conditions exist for using Commercial Licensing media for reimaging software that is previously installed either by the
OEM or from FPP.
Windows 10 Pro Custom Image Licencing
Hello,
If I was to create a custom windows 10 ISO file to get rid of un-needed bloatware & other files - is there any licencing restrictions against this? or is it allowed to be customised with its current windows 10 pro licence. Any links to this etc? My boss is worried that be implement it then breach some form of licence agreement with Microsoft.
Any help/advice on this would be great.
Cheers,
Morgan
