Hello,

I cannot use my external camera to record a powerpoint slideshow.

I have Windows 10 and Office 365.

My camera is a Fuji XS-10.

I have downloaded the Fuji Webcam Software.

My camera is recognized by Teams and works well with Teams.

However, I want to use my camera to record a powerpoint slideshow and in that case, my camera does not show up in the scrolling menu (in Powerpoint) to select the camera. Only the internal webcam shows up.

Thanks for your help !

    Hi Mia,

Thank you so much for your kind answer.

    I have a further question.

I understand that my configuration (Fuji XS-10 camera and Fuji Webcam software) cannot work to record a Powerpoint slideshow on which I would appear.

Could you tell me if the following configuration should work for recording a Powerpoint slideshow: Fuji camera and Video Capture Card ?

    Best regards,

    Gilles

    Hi Gilles,

Thanks for posting in our community.

Officially, it is suggested to use the out-of-box feature in PowerPoint to record the slideshow. See: Record your screen in PowerPoint (microsoft.com)

However, we do understand your demand about connecting with the external webcam to record a PowerPoint presentation as a video with vivid webcam content, we may be so sorry to convey that there has no such a build-in feature in PowerPoint product so far and you may need to download some third-party programs to realize the demand.

For any feedback and suggestions to improve PowerPoint: PowerPoint · Feedback Community (microsoft.com).

Your understanding is highly appreciated and hope a nice day for you!!

    Best Regards,

    Mia
