Hi,

I want to use the 'Data Types' (in the data section) in excel but I can't click on it. It is there but in grey so I can't access it. What could be the issue?

Many thanks in advance for your responses

Agathe

What version of office are you using?

In safe mode the same problem happens?

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key + R. ...

Once the Run window opens, type:

excel /safe in the input box next to 'Open'.

Press the Return key or click OK

log off your account and log in again, and see if the function works again.

    Hi Andre,

    Thanks for your response.

Format is .xlsm and creating a new file the issue is still there.

At first Data types wasn't showing in the Datas tools (apparently it should) so I created manually a group to add it. Telling you that in case it could help solving if it is related to the issue.

    Hi

My name is André. I am an independent consultant.

What is the format of the file being treated, .xlsx?

If you create a new file, from scratch, the option also does not appear?

Answer here so I can continue helping you.

    André.
