Every time I try to log into One Drive Business I get this message. Your OneDrive has not been setup(Error Code:0x004e4f1). I have restarted my computer, deleted and reinstalled One Drive and I can't get it to work. I can log into the web based version every time without issue.

    Hello Nick,

Thanks for updating us and letting us know that OneDrive can be successfully set up in the new user profile on the problematic device.

Since the problem is only with the old profile, I request you reset the OneDrive app and check the result. Reference: Reset OneDrive (microsoft.com)

If the problem still persists, I request you uninstall the OneDrive app (Go to Control Panel> Programs> Programs and Features> Right-click on the OneDrive> Uninstall).

Note; Also make sure the OneDrive folder is removed in the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft in Registry Editor)

After the uninstall. restart PC> Go to this article: OneDrive release notes (microsoft.com)> Download the OneDrive app> Try to set up your account to check the result.

    Best Regards,

    Stacey

Turning off my antivirus software/firewall made no difference.

I created a new user account on the computer and it worked. Is there a way to fix it under my original account?

    Hello Nick,

As per your description, we understand you are encountering the error message when you are trying to set up your account in the OneDrive sync client on your PC and since you can access the OneDrive in the browser without any problem, we would like to know whether your any Proxy or Antivirus or any VPN software is enabled in your PC?

If yes, we request you turn it off temporarily and check whether you can set up your OneDrive without any problem.

If still not, if you have access to any other device, I request you try to check whether you can set up your OneDrive on another device without any problem?

Please feel free to post back updates and we will be here to assist you further.

    Best Regards,

    Stacey

365 Desktop? When installed under a win user account that has admin rights all of Office logs on when the PC is started

Restart the PC, once fully loaded, repair Office,> Apps & Features>Select Office your version>Modify /Repair, once the repair completes re-test
