I have tried everything I know but my Screenclip shortcut isn't working in the remote desktop session, but is working on my local drive. Can anyone tell me how to get it working again?

Hi Judy,

Shortcuts for Windows computer and Remote Desktop (RDP) are different. The shortcut that works on Windows 10 may not work on RDP.

Here’s an article where you can learn about some screenshot that you can use in remote desktop.

Remote Desktop Services Shortcut Keys

Regarding “Windows-Shift-S”, this shortcut works only in Windows 10 computer, on remote desktop, we have alternate options, such as:

Print Screen Ctrl+Alt+'+'(Plus key on numeric keypad) Takes a screenshot of the whole screen to the clipboard which you can paste in Paint
Alt+Print Screen Ctrl+Alt+'-' (Minus key on the numeric keypad) Takes a screenshot of the active window to the clipboard which you can paste in Paint

We appreciate your understanding and co-operation.

Kind regards,

Neha
