Hi,

I've had powerpoint installed on my windows machine for years with no problems up to 2 weeks ago when it started only printing 1/4 of the page but as a full slide, images especially. Occasionally it will print a full image but I've done nothing different

I've tried looking for help but can't find anything, can anyone help?

Hi, done all the above, printer and laptop switched off each night.

No problems in any other programme or computer attached to printer so just a PPT issue

    Thank you

To begin with, please turn both your computer and printer off, leave them off for a few minutes while you make yourself a cup of coffee.

Start printer and PC back up and try printing again.

If the problem still occurs, print something from another program ... Word or Excel for example. If the problem appears there as well, it's likely a printer driver or settings problem, not a PPT issue.

Let us know where this leads and we'll take it from there. If the problem occurs in other programs as well as in PPT, also tell us the make and model of your printer.

Support for Office 2007 ended October 2017 and for 2010 Oct 2020, and at those times the backup install was removed from MS Site, and updates of any type ceased.

    Try a repair/reinstall
