PowerPoint Failure

Hello,

I have a question about recovering my powerpoints. I have had several instances over the last year while creating NEW pp that are unable to be saved, unable to be opened, and the storage/size of file is now non-existent. This is work content and crashes at the WORST time. This never happened prior to this new microsoft purchase for life plan that is all online. It is a new computer- these are microsoft applications that FAIL ALL THE TIME. I just created a new file and I am slowly watching my slide content disappear. When I tried to create a new file and move or copy the slides they lose all content. THIS IS HOURS OF WORK. I am seriously so frustrated. Why also are there 'please try again later' messages????? Because the applications are so busy they don't work? Or the new system just sucks??? Why am I paying for this?????? How do I get my work back? It won't even let me close the file and reopen it.

Good grief, I can only imagine how frustrating this must be!

We can try to help but first, a bit more info would be useful. You mention "this new microsoft purchase for life plan that is all online." I'm not familiar with that option; can you supply a link to more info about it. And it might also help if you can choose File | Account and make a screenshot of what you see on the right side of the screen. Edit out any personally identifiable info before you paste the screen shot in your reply here. It should look something like this:
