Data refresh removes formulas
I hope I can explain this simply enough. I have created a table via 'Get and Transform Data'. Once loaded, I added 3 new columns that were not in the source table. Note: One of these new columns has a formula in it. I then did another 'Get and Transform Data' from the loaded table with the new columns and only created a connection. I then went back to the original query and merged the two together. All of this worked out perfectly well, no problems. The problem I'm running into, and maybe there's no fix; hope not, is when I 'Refresh' the table, I loose my formulas. If I enter data, instead of a formula into the columns, all is fine, the data is not removed. Is there a way I can keep my formulas from being removed?
