    Hi,

    Welcome in Microsoft community.

I did the test at my end using Beta channel and could enable data picker in the controls. To get Date picker, you need first to enable developer tab. To enable developer tab in your Excel, go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon and make Developer checked.

However, this option is available in specific channels such as Beta channel and not available in other channels. One of the benefits of being in the Office Beta channel is getting to see and test new features before they are generally available. But pros come with cons. As the Beta version is majorly for test purpose, test software might not work correctly. At worst, the program might ‘crash’ and documents lost.

Please consider it before opt in the Microsoft Insider Program.

There are lots of date picker add-ins in the Microsoft store. In case you are not willing to join beta channel, you may need to install the add-in that is considered as a workaround.

    Regards,
    Christophe
