Adding columns to template Gantt chart and retain conditional formatting

Hi, I need to add additional columns to a template Excel gantt timing plan. I can't figure out how to carry over the conditional formatting so the planned and actual functions carry over to the new columns.

I need to ensure the planned and actual formatting is carried over to the new columns because I need more than the 60 periods in the standard template.

I don't have experience with MS Project so I don't really want to have to learn that, and re-create this gantt chart in MS Project.

    Hi George,

    Thanks for your response.

    I have figured it out now thank you.

    I am using the MS Excel template Gantt chart as shown below.

    All I needed to do was continue the period numbering and the conditional formatting copied along the extended area I needed.
