Hello

I have the need to be bale to coauthor on a macro enabled powerpoint presentation (.pptm).

I read here and there that it is not supported but I still wanted to know if there is a known workaround to this problem ?

Thanks

Marc

Hi FOLLIOT Marc,

I go through the post carefully, Yes, as you can see from the link, PPTM could not be a supported format for co-authoring: Document collaboration and co-authoring (microsoft.com). I am really sorry for the inconvenience and would suggest you give feedback on ideas on co-authoring feature to the developer team of PowerPoint by File>Feedback. Your feedback will promote the developer team of PowerPoint to develop the feature. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

As a workaround, you may save the pptm as pptx, and co-authoring on the copy, you may add macro to the pptx and save it as pptm again after you finish your work.

Regards,

Clark
