Every time I go into the preset MLA format on Microsoft Word and try to set my headers, It doesn't work. The first one is cookie 1 and then the second one is cookie 2, but then all the following headers are cookie 2, I emailed my teacher, I asked my friends, I looked up youtube videos, Help me!

In your document, access the header pane and type "cookie 2" where you want it to appear. Then enable the Different First Page setting, which will give you a separate First Page Header. In that one, type "cookie 1." Even if your document has only one page, Word will remember the primary header and use it when you get to page 2.
