I have Word file that mailmerges from a csv file. All apostrophes and ampersands get changed in the mailmerged file, what is causing this?

Thanks in anticipation.

Try opening the csv file in Excel and save it as an xlsx file and then use that as the data source.

If you still cannot get it to work, if you send me a copy of the csv file, referencing this thread in the covering email message, I will investigate the issue.

This is a Word/Mailmerge problem, nothing to do with Outlook.

The Mailmerge function (Finish & Merge) is changing a perfectly good ' in the csv to ASCII.
