SharePoint Online - Customising Modern Pages

Hi,

My company are in the process of moving to SharePoint Online from SharePoint 2013. I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone can help with:

Formatting Modern Pages
How is this possible without access to Content Editor and/or Script Editor web parts? Is there an alternative means by which CSS can be applied to modern pages?

Custom Lists Web Parts on Modern Pages
How can the List Name and 'see all' link be hidden/removed from the web part without being able to apply CSS via a Content Editor or Script Editor? The list name is not always required and I cant see any possible benefit of the 'see all' link. Why would anyone want users being directed to list views other than the one that has been applied to the page?

Both of these issues are frustrating. Being able to format pages using Content Editors and/or Script Editors has been possible up to now and is incredibly useful. Why remove them?

Thanks,

This issue seems to be by design.

Microsoft do not intend to bring back a way to create or add ungoverned code on modern SharePoint pages. Therefore there won’t be any modern version of the script editor web part shipped from Microsoft.

The purpose behind the SharePoint Framework is to enable governance over all scripting solutions leveraged on SharePoint pages.

You can view the information on the user voice page:

Bring Back Script Editor Web Part in "Modern" SharePoint
