Sheet grouping - Risks and warning message

Hi, Please develop a warning message in Excel when users have grouped sheets, to make them aware that any change they do in any of the grouped sheets will be executed in the others, incl. deletions etc. This is currently a big risk if you're not aware that this will happen - and I guess that many aren't. It can destroy in a few seconds the work of weeks, months or more. I occasionally use grouping for copying of moving sheets together to another workbook. But was unaware of the very wide implications of grouping, so did not necessarily think about ungrouping, and accidentally deleted massive data in that way.
Excel has warning messages for many aspects that in my view are less risky than this big risk.
Thanks

    Hi Suzy DC,

Thanks for the updates and I understand your feeling. As our support team have limited resource to change features in Excel directly, so I would suggest you give feedback to the developer team of Excel so that they may add the features based on your feedback. If you cannot find feedback button in Excel Desktop app, I would suggest you login in https://login.microsoftonline.com/ and use feedback button at right bottom of the page. Really sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding!

    Regards,

    Clark

    Dear Clark,

I don't have this Feedback button in "File" in Excel, neither do I have a Feedback or Suggestion button in the Help.

The only option I have to provide my feedback is to the Community, which is back to Square 1.

I keep getting sent around in circles and this is very frustrating.

    Suzy

    Hi Suzy DC,

I go through the post carefully, as per the link: Group worksheets (microsoft.com), If you group a set of worksheets, any changes you make on one worksheet are made in all the other worksheets in the group in the exact same location on the worksheets. As for the idea of error message when delete content under group sheet, I would suggest you give feedback on the idea to the related developer team of Excel by Excel>File>Feedback, your feedback will promote the developer team to improve the feature in Excel! Thanks for your efforts and understanding!

    Best Regards,

    Clark
