Today's Excel can have more than 16000 columns, so limit has gone.
I'm not familiar with AX2012, but take a look here:

Hi,
I have a request to export the data for Vendor Entity in AX2012, and that would be easily done by the data import/export framework, but the entity has more than 255 fields or as we can say parameters, and that looks to be the limit when exporting to Excel since Excel can not have more than 255 columns.
So, my next idea was to export to CSV and then convert it to an Excel file but, that also is not working in my case because that data is not good and I can not find the right separator to separate the parameters.
Does anyone else face this problem, and maybe come with some solution?
