Exclusive access to database

I'm working on a Access project. Lately when I've tried to enter VBA code,

I get a message that I don't have exclusive access to this database.

The thing is for now I'm the only one on the planet that opens it.

It's on my private computer. I can see the reason for this when it goes live,

but it's a pain now.

I've tried the open/browse method but that's just temporary.

Is there a better solution?
