Hello guys,

for a few weeks now, I cannot open any of the Office applications. The Office version I'm using is Home and Student 2016, below is a screenshot of the concrete version.

Whenever I open them, multiple windows containing the last documents I used open and I immediately get a window telling me "An error prevents the proper performance of [application, in this case Word], because of this [application] has to be closed. Do you want to repair it?". The options are repair, help and close. Help takes me to this community, the other two only close the window. When I try to reopen the software after it was 'repaired', the same thing happens.

Here's a screenshot of the error message in German.

I tried to reinstall Office.
I deleted it through the deinstalling applications tab of the control panel and reinstalled it. However, shortly before finishing the installation, I got either got the error code 30015-13(3221356598), 30015-15(3221356598) or 30015-11(3221356598).

I downloaded Sara and tried deinstalling and reinstalling Office through it and got the same error codes.

I enabled the built in Administrator account to delete and reinstall and got the same error code.

I also tried repairing Office through the modify option of the control panel (I tried both the offline and online repair), which did not work either. Using the online repair, I got the error code 30015-11(3221356598), the offline repair gave me the error code 30013-13(3221356598).

After reinstalling Office, I was always able to open the applications and the same problem occurred, where I got the screen that the applications are not working and

that I should try to repair the application, which never worked.

I'm not sure if it's related to my problem, but I had to reinstall the windows c++ redistributables as I got the error message that some .dll were missing. I did not get the error message from any Office applications tho.
That was roughly around the time I started having problems with Office.
I already tried reinstalling the files from the Microsoft website, that didn't work either.

I'm looking forward to your suggestions.

    You have failed to mention the win version

    Maybe run the win DISM/SFC process, as a start

    To repair Office;

    Restart the PC, once fully loaded, repair Office,> Apps & Features>Select Office your version>Modify /Repair, once the repair completes re-test
