I have 365 subs and ppt usually works just fine. Suddenly, I notice that my design ideas button is missing, Went to File > Option > General and there's even no Intelligent Services option.

Note: I'm currently on Win 11. Everything was fine for a few days, but now that button just missing.

I have also check the "connected experience" under privacy settings.

Arissari, I'm glad the steps helped you in some way.

This was definitely a system bug, unfortunately sometimes this happens and you need to follow these steps to fix it.

If you need anything else let me know :)

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. After I posted my question, I realized that my account was OHS and not Microsoft 365. I tried to change my account, and even though it said it chooses 365, it still said 2019, no matter how many times I tried.

So I did what Hillary suggested (please read my reply to her).

    Anyway, thanks..

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. After I posted my question, I realized that my account was OHS and not Microsoft 365. I tried to change my account, and even though it said it chooses 365, it still said 2019, no matter how many times I tried.

So I finally uninstall office, re-install, and it happened again.

then after going re-install (again!) I did the Repair Office online, and I managed to change my account to 365, but still no design button nor intelligent services.

Then I did quick repair.. and it's fixed.

So your advice helps, but why do I need to go thru so much??

Are you sure you have 365? If you click File > Account does it look like this and mention Subscription?

    Hi, arisari.

I understand that Designe Ideas is missing from your Powerpoint.

Just to confirm you are using an Office 365 subscription account. Right?

If yes, follow the correction steps below:

    1. Update Office

Click File → Account → Update Options → Update Now.

→ Click the Start button , Settings , then Applications .

→ Choose Microsoft Office 2019 and click the Modify button.

→ Select Repair Online and then click the Repair button.
