Mail Merge - lose document reference links

Anonymous

When I use a template for a mail merge, I lose internal document reference links. The references turn to standard text so they no longer update in the merged documents. How can I keep the references after the mail merge? I need this so I can edit the mail merge documents and not have to update all the references.

Thank you!

If you send me a copy of the mail merge main document and the data source, referencing this thread in the covering email message, I will investigate the issue.
