Electronic report excel format does not load images and shapes

Hi! We created a GER configuration and the excel template includes pictures and shapes however, whenever we generate the report, upon opening the .xlsx file it shows this error

and when we click "Yes" it removes all the pictures and shapes that we included.

We are still clueless as to why this happens because all the templates work prior to cleaning the database of our SAT environment.
Has anyone experienced this? And if yes, how were you able to fix it?

    Hi Ivanvielle,

    Thanks for posting back.

For your concern, it is hard to find out the root cause. It seems the workbook may be damaged. Please try to open it on another device and check again.

Also, please try to repair the workbook. Open Excel, click File> Open, select the file in File Explorer, click the arrow button beside the Open button> Open and Repair, then check again. If the above suggestions don’t work, you may need to re-create the template file.

In addition, we will keep this thread open so MVPs and experts in this community can share their thoughts on your scenario.

    Regards,

    George

    Thank you George!

It finally worked again! However there's some slight problems

    1. Picture got pixelated
    2. Data that has been mapped did not show in the defined shapes.

    Any idea why?

    Hi Ivanvielle,

Thanks for posting in the community.

Normally, the error message means there is corruption in the Excel file. According to your description, you can use the Excel template to create new files while the error message pops on when opening this file.

May I know whether you can still open the template in Excel (Open Excel> click File> Open)? If so, please try to copy the content to a new workbook OR right-click the sheet and Copy sheets to the new workbook, then save the new workbook as a template.

    Regards,

    George
