Onenote errorcode 0x803D0005

Question

I can't start Onenote on my Windows10 computer. When starting onenote I get the errorcode "0x803D0005" . I tried the solution you replied in the previous post, but it didn't work. How can I solve this?

I understand that you have encountered an error code 0x803D0005 when starting OneNote.

Could you please tell me what version of OneNote are you using, is OneNote application or OneNote for Windows 10?

If you are using OneNote for Windows 10, please right click Start Menu>Apps and Features, search OneNote>Advanced Options>Reset

If you have proxy, close it for temporary and check the issue.

You can also go Settings>Update & Security, check if there is any update available

Hi,

It is recommended that you repair the office application: Repair an Office application (microsoft.com)

Follow the instructions from the link to complete the repair.

If it did not work, you can try Install or reinstall OneNote for Windows (microsoft.com)

I'm using OneNote for Windows 10. Here's a screenshot of the page that pops up every time I open it.

Either way, it will blink back.
