Graph not pasting from excel to word

Every time I try to copy paste my graph from excel into word it does nothing.

I tried to export but no option is available to export to word doc.

Please help

    • Create the chart in Excel.
    • Select the chart
    • Copy the chart
    • Switch to Word
    • Paste Special > MS Office graphic object
    • Optionally turn on 'Paste Link to be able to edit data in excel, show changes in Word

    If you want to go really low-tech, use a snipping tool to screenshot the chart and paste it in as an image. It will not be able to update link but it is 100% effective. I use this method to move Excel charts into Google Slides or when Excel is being difficult.

    I was able to work around it by sending both documents to a different computer and pasting it from there. It worked just fine.

    Not sure why but I still cant do it on my computer
