How to fill values of equal increments between two predefined random values of cells of columns and rows?

Hi everyone,

Is there any formula, method or trick to fill values of equal increments between two predefined random values of the cells of columns and rows?

I know the formula =A1+($A$6-$A$1)/(ROW($A$6)-ROW($A$1)). And then drag. Do I have to write the formula every time? Are there any methods like save the formula format for later use etc, if yes how to do that?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Abhi

    Hi 0Abhi0,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information. I understand that you want to save your customized function formula in Excel for future use. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am glad to offer you help on this issue.

This idea can be realized in Excel, but it needs a certain degree of learning or programming ability.

You can press ALT + F11 in excel at the same time to enter the VBE compilation environment, and then compile the code according to your needs

I'm sorry that I can't give the specific code implementation here, but, if necessary, you can go to the technical document link given below to learn by yourself, or ask the IT practitioners around you for help,

The reason why we can't provide specific code implementation is that this is a relatively personalized operation, and we can only provide conventional solutions.

I hope the information provided is useful to you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our support.

    Kind regards
