    Hello, Jayne

Thank you for taking time and updating a scenario.

This is unusual behavior for Outlook and SharePoint. Normally the attachments would be saved in temp folder of Outlook and they can be saved to SharePoint manually with right-click on attachment > Upload.

The automatic upload can be achieved with another software, VBA modules or Power Automate flow (for example this Save Outlook.com email attachments to SharePoint and OneDrive (Business) | Microsoft Power Automate)

To narrow down a source of this behavior please confirm with other site owners if they created any Power Automate flows or added the rules to a site. You may also check it by yourself, go to SharePoint library where the attachments are saved and select Integrate > Power Automate > See your flows.

    Best Regards,

    Igor
