Hi There,
I would like to explore the possibility of updating all the row in the entire table in an excel file from another excel file using power automate. Each file have the same Unique ID column.
I have this flow that only updates one row at the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as I have to enter the ID for the row one at the time. Is there a way around this?
Thank you.
File 1 - Table 1
| ID | Date | Cost | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12356 | 12/12/21 | 500 | 50 |
| 12589 | 12/13/21 | 300 | 30 |
| 13587 | 12/14/21 | 150 | 15 |
File 2 - Table 3
| ID | Date | Cost | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12356 | 12/11/21 | ||
| 12589 | 12/13/21 | ||

When you use the update a row action to update cells in Excel, like with all other actions in this connector, you will need a table in your Excel spreadsheet. One additional requirement is needed for the update a row action, you will need a key column with unique values.
Further, as you are using Power Automate to create the flow, I’ll suggest you post in Microsoft Power Automate Community for expert assistance. This is a specific channel related to issues with Power Automate.
The reason I request you to post a new thread is that in Answers forum, we have limited resources and very little knowledge about Power Automate workflows and in Microsoft Power Automate Community, you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.
We appreciate your understanding.
