Excel Pop Ups

Question

The latest update of Excel causes adverts to pop up periodically. The instructions given in Help to stop them do not refer to the actual screens - probably to an earlier version. They give instructions which cannot be followed. How to eliminate these adverts?

May I know if you are getting an ad something like the screenshot below?

The message you are getting is the Excel trust center message bar. The message bar settings can be adjusted from File>Options >Trust Center >Trust Center Settings Button >Message Bar, uncheck **** the box under Policy Tips section, then click OK, check if you still receive the messages.

I understand sometimes the initial suggestion may not resolve the problem; however, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. If the issue persists, please provide us with the following information:

1. Please provide the screenshot of Microsoft 365 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Word or PowerPoint on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.
2. May I request a screenshot showing the message you are seeing?
3. Which instructions in Help menu you are referring? Could you please provide us with the link if any?
