Microsoft Project 2019

Hi

When I click on Project icon to launch the application nothing happens. The application doesn't open and I cannot open Project files either.

What shall I do?

    Thanks for your response.

    No I do not have any add ins but will try your method and let you know about it.

    meanwhile please note that I get this error when I want to open a previously created file

    I just uninstalled and reinstalled the application so I am not sure there were any add ins installed on it. How can I check if there is any or delete the add ins?

    Hello FarbodZahiri,

    Thanks for the response. Do you have any add-ins installed in your Microsoft Project? If yes, please try to open MS project in safe mode. To do it, press and hold the Control key then open Microsoft Project . Please keep the Control key held down while opening the application, click the Yes button on the confirmation dialog and after clicking the Yes button, release the Control key. If it opens in safe mode, it means the add-in is causing the problem and you need to disable one of it.

    Thanks Jaenise,

    I have done that and still it is not working. I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it and still is not working.

    What else you reckon could be done?

    Sorry to hear this problem. Please try to perform an online repair for the Microsoft Project app by following the steps provided below.

    1. Open the Control Panel
    2. Go to Programs and Features
    3. Select the Microsoft Project application > Right-click on the Project product > select Change > select Online Repair.
    4. After running the online repair please check if MS Project is working now.
