Specifically, what is "the same version of excel"?

I’m having issues running multiple commands and macros through VBA. It has worked on other MacBook computers using the same version of excel. (It works on my old MacBook air in the same version of excel, so this is extremely irritating.) Uninstalling and reinstalling excel has not helped anything and I have already reported my issue to Microsoft by using the smiley face in excel.
I believe I am only having issues with this computer because it is an M1 MacBook Pro and therefore runs on ARM rather than Intel. I have attempted to run excel through Rosetta 2, but am still experiencing the same issues.
I keep getting the following issues:
Run-time error “5’: Invalid call or argument
Run-time error ’13’: Type mismatch
Whenever I attempt to debug the issues for the run-time 5 error, it appears that each issue is related to colours. Every single issue that requires debugging includes a different RGB code. Some examples are below:
RGB(112, 173, 71)
RGB (192, 192, 192)
When I attempt to debug the issues for the run-time 13 error it is always related to the location of date (ie: columns, cells or values).
Has anyone come up with a solution for this? Any more possible workarounds for the M1 with macros/VBA?

I'm running Excel for Mac version 16.48.
Hi
I think it fails because you're applying the color to the cell instead of the text.
This works
With Selection.Font
.Color = RGB(112,173,21)
End With
