select all objects

I have a document with hundreds of objects. I'd like to select them all at once, but cannot figure out how to do this in on a Mac in a .docx document.

Using the Selection Pane is the best solution I've found so far, but it seems only to allow one page of objects at a time.

Version 16.52 Mac 365.

    Put the document in Web or Outline view, then open the Selection Pane.
