PowerPoint Add-in Error

When I start PowerPoint I receive the following message:

PowerPoint couldn't load the add-in "/Users/CEMcElveen/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/PowerPoint/SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam"

Here is the background:

  1. I had O365 under my business name. I closed my business, and terminated the business O365 account.
  2. I started with another company and enrolled in its O365
  3. I now get this message when opening PowerPoint, but NOT when opening any other O365 application.

Help! I've searched high and low for the answer to this and how to fix it.

    Hello Jim,

I've tried to uninstall/reinstall 3-4 times now without success. I even went out to Adobe and tried their Adobe cleaner/tool and that didn't help either.

    Other ideas?

    Charlie

Delete "linkCreation.dotm" from the following folders:

      ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Word/

      ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/PowerPoint/

      ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Excel/

    Hi

At one time your Mac had Adobe Acrobat installed.

To fix the problem, follow Adobe instructions for completely removing Adobe Acrobat.

Alternatively, install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat.
