I have text that is showing in the Outline View of Word but not on my Normal View or Print Preview. I have made sure the box is not checked for hidden text. Any idea how I can make sure this doesn't happen and why it doesn't show in the other views?

Which text is missing? Do you see a pattern?

In a view where you do see all the text, copy all of it, except for the final paragraph mark (¶) of the document, and paste into a new, blank document.

To show/hide nonprinting marks, such as paragraph marks, click the ¶ icon on the Home tab.

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for posting your question in this community. From your description, you would like to get a refund on an already deleted virtual card. I love helping other users in the Community by sharing my experience with Microsoft products.

I reccomend you try running Word in safe mode to see the result.

Kindly reference the link herein: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/open-office-apps-in-safe-mode-on-a-windows-pc-dedf944a-5f4b-4afb-a453-528af4f7ac72?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us

In addition, please make sure that there are no words which are hidden in your file:

Press Ctrl + A to select all the content in the file> Right Click the content> Font...> In Effects, uncheck the "Hidden" box> OK.

Also make sure you haven't tagged every row in the table as a header row. If the header is formatted as "Keep with next" (as it normally should be), make sure that the following row is not too deep to fit on the page (or at least has "Allow rows to break across pages" enabled). Long single-row tables can cause problems in Word, especially if they contain footnote references. It's advisable to break tables to a new row at least once a page.

Also, "Repeat as header row" won't work if the table is wrapped.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Have a great time ahead!

    Regards,
    Amaka
