MacOS/Sharepoint - Finder does not search Sharepoint folders

Hi

we have a migrated account here coming from an I9 notebook to a new M1. After migration searching folders inside the sharepoint drive using finder does not lead to any results.

When the overall search is used (search the entire notebook), then matches are found in the sharepoint drive.

As we moved all docs to our Sharepoint, we followd this tutorial https://www.hybridict.com.au/2021/11/02/how-to-setup-onedrive-and-sharepoint-on-an-imac-or-macbook/ to get access on our MacOS machines.

As already mentioned, there are other installation on non-migrated accounts, where finding sharepoint docs using finder inside the sharepoint drive works without any issues.

Are there any known issues regarding migrated accounts pointing into this direction?

    According to description users can’t search SharePoint folders with Finder on Mac after migration.

    For better understanding and further tests on our side, could you please share some additional information:

    • As you mentioned the accounts migrated from i9 notebook to M1. May I know if you mean Mac computers on Intel i9 or it was Windows PC?
    • Can the SharePoint folders be found with Spotlight?
    • Do the folders in OneDrive for business show the same behavior?
