Excel Spreadsheet - making columns stationary

I would like for this sheet to work two ways: 1) so that the "Name" column is stationary and I can slide the months over (mostly so I can print the sheet with a desired range of months) 2) so that the top row is stationary I can slide the names up. Appreciate any help! Thanks!

Thank you so much for this response, very helpful, and it worked. The only problem is, when I select the print area, it still selects the columns (or rows as the case may be) that have been shifted over. Do I actually have hide the rows that I don't want printed to do an area of the spreadsheet?

Select the range of cells you want to print, then either:

    • Go to File> Print Area - Set Print Area if you expect to print that same range frequently, or
    • Just go into the Print dialog then open the Print: dropdown menu to choose Selection for a one time job.
