A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hi GMJ1047!
Thank you for writing to the Microsoft Answer Community Forum, I am Shakiru, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I am glad to be helping you out today.
I'm sorry to know you are experiencing this kind of issue.
However, you may need to do the following:
- Click Start Windows >Click Control Panel, then search for Credential Manager and open it. Click Windows Credential > Generic Credentials, and then delete any item related to your Office account.
2 Go to file explorer locate: C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel (replace the user name with your user name, you can directly reach here by copying and pasting the following without quotes in Explorer address bar - "%appdata%\Microsoft\Excel") and see if it contains few files/folders. Move those files to some other location (i.e create a backup of those files/folders and delete all files/folders from here). Hence, make the Excel folder blank.
Now open the file and see if the problem disappears or not.
- Reinstall the Microsoft office
Kind Regards, Shakiru
