Hi

I am receiving an error message that says sorry we couldn't find .......file path..... Name Manager 2007.xlam.

I am running office 365. I have completely uninstalled and resinstalled the program and the error is still appearing.

Can anyone help me with this please.

I have scrolled the forums and have not located a solution to the error.

Cheers

Jodi

    Hi Andreas

The name manager appears to still be working in my spreadsheets, but the error is appearing every time I open excel.

I do need to use it so am not looking to delete it but just replace the xlam file that seems to have been deleted.

I have tried the solution offered by Snow, however my computer is telling me that the macros are being blocked. I have attempted to unblock this but it is still not working.

Cheers all for your help, does anyone have any other ideas?

    Jodi

    Hi Jodi,

the name manager is a great tool to edit/create names in your file(s).

The AddIn itself does not harm any of your files in any way.

Seems you have deleted the AddIn and did not remove it from Excel, so it is still on the list of AddIns to be used.

Have a look here how to remove it from the list: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-or-remove-add-ins-in-excel-0af570c4-5cf3-4fa9-9b88-403625a0b460

    Andreas.

    Hi

Here is the error I am getting every time I open excel. I use the name manager in a couple of my files so I am concerned that it might cause these files to not function correctly.

The error has appeared since I installed trend micro virus software. I have contacted them, however they have told me that i need to contact microsoft support regarding the error as it is nothing to do with trend micro.

I have uninstalled an reinstalled office and this has not corrected the error.

    Kind Regards

    Jodi
